At the beginning of 2006, my former pastor and his family were called to be missionaries in Malawi, Africa. Ryan and his wife Katie have three daughters: Anna, Lydia, and Ella. Ryan and Katie asked me to come to Malawi to homeschool their two oldest daughters Anna (8) and Lydia (6). I arrived in Lilongwe, Malawi in August 2007, and I will be here until next May. I am so excited about what God is doing as I serve Him along side the Bartlett family in Malawi!
Praise God for our brothers and sisters in Malawi. It's such a joy to be here learning and growing with them.
Praise God for His awesome provision! I have all of the support I need to go to Cambodia for GSI. Pray for my heart and mind to be prepared for the things the Lord wants to teach me there. Also, pray as I travel, December 28th through January 14th.
Pray for our upcoming Women's Conference in Northern Malawi. Jen Willson (the FM missionary in Blantyre, Malawi) will be joining Katie and I as we travel to the north for the three-day conference.
Pray for Great Commission Bible School, our guest teachers from the US, and the student-pastors who train here. Our next module begins on January 12th.
Pray for the leaders of the Free Methodist Church in Malawi. Pray that God will help them to be strong in Him, and they will spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people in Malawi.
